The 1995-1996 season was the 49th season of the National Basketball Assaciation. The Chicago Bulls won the NBA championship defeating the Seattle Supersonics 4-2. Michael Jordan was the Finals MVP. That season Hakeem Olajuwan became the all time blocks leader and Jon Stockton became the all time steals leader. The league MVP that season was Michael Jordan. That season marked the debut of two new franchises the Toronto Raptors and the Vancouver Grizzlies.
