Patrick Aloysius Ewing (August 5,1962 in Kingston, Jamaica) is a Jamaican former professional basketball player. He was bes knowen as the Center for the New York Knicks from 1985-2000. Ewing was drafted 1st overall in the 1985 NBA Draft by the Knicks out of Georgetown. His son Patrick Ewing Jr. is currentely playing in the NBA Development League
